Country: South Africa  Focus Area(s): Advocacy and Human Rights
Operating in South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe, The Justice Desk was established in 2013 to respond to the concerns facing youth in the South Central African region.

Reaching for New Horizons

Country: Peru  Focus Area(s): Education
Reaching for New Horizons is a project started in the town of Chimbote, Peru. Many of the families live in extreme poverty – there is no running water, sanitation or electricity in town. Edmund Rice Mission established a presence in Chimbote over two years ago.

The Cochabamba Youth Programme is a front line response to disadvantaged and marginalised youth in this central Bolivian city of over 1 million people.

Located in the Canto Grande, one of the poorest areas of Lima, the Fe y Alegría School provides education to over 1,494 students, and has been connected with the Edmund Rice Mission for over 20 years.

Edmund Rice Centre Nairobi

The Mary Rice Day Care Centre supports children with physical and intellectual disabilities from the Kibera slum, which is located approximately 5km from central Nairobi.

Maternal Child Health Support Programme at the Ruben Centre

The Ruben Health Clinic was first established in a simple tin shed in 1992. With a staff of 30 professionals and volunteers, the Ruben Centre Health Clinic offers curative, promotive, preventative and rehabilitative services to the people of the Mukuru Community in Nairobi, Kenya.
