Message from the Chair
Screenshot 2024 06 21 at 15.37.00‘It is an honour and a pleasure to announce that I have been appointed Chair of the Board of Edmund Rice Development, taking over from the wonderful Br. John Casey who has been at the helm for the last 10 years. I am delighted to continue to work with the fantastic Fiona Dowling, CEO and all the ERD board, team and partners including Misean Cara, whom I have worked with on the Board for the past three years and previously on projects in Africa. Fiona is an excellent leader with high integrity, great commitment to the work of ERD and is very passionate about gender equality. I look forward to the next chapter in ERD and I am delighted to take on this role, my first ever position as Chair of an NGO that does such important work to improve the lives of the people we serve.’ -Dee McMahon, ERD Board Chair (pictured with departing Chair Br.
