Broadcasting from the Ruben Centre

Justin Kilcullen, a board member of Misean Cara, recently visited the Ruben Centre in Nairobi, Kenya. The centre provides access to education, skills training, maternal and child health, and economic empowerment for residents of the Mukuru kwa Ruben slum. It is managed by the East African District of the Christian Brothers.
They recently started Ruben FM, it is Mukuru’s first ever community radio station and its aim is to connect the community. Here you can listen to Justin and Liz Mwangi, Ruben’s Programme Manager speak about all the amazing day to day activities of the centre and how they are empowering the local people.
